Eran Eytan, CEO . Head of “Israeli Hope in Sports” on behalf of the Office Of The President of Israel. Co-founder of Value Sports and served as the VP and professional director until 2016. Former coach of the youth national teams of Israel in basketball. Hold a B.A. in strategy and government from the Herziliya International Disciplinary Center. He coached the Israel Junior Team for the first Youth Olympics in Singapore. He is leading the training of basketball coaches at the Wingate National Institute’s Coaching Program. Eran enjoys hiking with his family and friends.
Tamir Erez, Director of operations and the Professional Division. Holds a B.A. in marketing and an M.A. in public policy from Tel Aviv University. Tamir is active in informal education and coordinated the Sderot community center Under-21 division and directed emergency preparedness crews for the towns near the Gaza Strip. Having played in all types of children and youth soccer programs, Tamir sees himself as an athlete who grew up on values instilled in him by sport. Tamir lives with his family on Meflasim.
Adi Mohel, Program Director – Ofek program for female leadership in sports.
Adi joined Value Sports’ team back in 2013. She is managing and developing the content for Value Spots’ female athletes programs. Holds an M.A. from the Hebrew University Glocal Community Development program, a certified group facilitator and basketball instructor. Adi believes all girls have the right to practice their favourite sport, and to develop in it, as a female and as an athlete. Loves playing basketball, paint, to travel and experience nature and to read interesting articles on gender and sports.
Itzik Cohen, Head Psychologist, has extensive experience in education and therapy, and developed an intervention method using sports and art. He has a private psychology practice that specializes in finding applicable solutions for crisis situations. He is happy to still be afflicted by the handball bug. Itzik lives in Rehovot with his wife and children.
Ella Nof, Accounting. Responsible for the organization’s financial management, budget management and cash flow. Ella is the account manager for another firm, in addition to Value Sports. She has experienced the challenges and successes of competition through her daughter, who is a professional ballroom dance competitor.
Adi Hayile, Resource Development and Marketing Director. Joined Value Sports in 2017. Adi is a social and business entrepreneur. She holds a B.A. in psychology and education from Tel Aviv University. She is the founder and owner of the business “Made for You” and has extensive experience in leading social and educational programs. She lives in Tel Aviv with her husband and enjoys travelling, reading and creating.
Hatem Tarbia, Coordinator of the Shared Society program and senior director of education. Hatem joined Value Sports in 2013. He leads the Value Sports program in Sakhnin, coordinates the Via Values program in community centers and guides the Value Sports program in East Jerusalem. He holds a B.A. in education and sciences from Oranim College and an M.A. in organization development from Ono Academic College. Hatem is an experienced group facilitator, project manager and educational counselor to prevent violence and racism and promote a shared society. He lives in Sakhnin with his wife and children.
Ilan Amar, Senior educational coordinator. Coordinates the Value Sports program for Hapoel Haifa. He specializes in training coaches and counselors to inspire children on the playing field. He is a coach for the Maccabi Haifa basketball junior team and has extensive experience in team training. Ilan is a physical education teacher at the Kiryat Motzkin elementary school, a mental trainer for the Hapoel Akko soccer club, and mentors athletes privately.
Geva Kabesa, Educational Content Director. Has been living and breathing informal education for more than 16 years. Director of Educational Systems and Youth Departments, O.D.T Group Instructor and a Coacher. He is a graduate of the youth football division of Hapoel Kiryat Shmona. Today he is engaging in triathlon, the Iron Man and functional training. Most importantly, believes in sports and education as a way of life. Married + 2, living in Kibbutz Eyal.
Renana Simon, Administrative Director. Joined Value Sports’ team in 2017, Renana holds a degree in Visual Communication Design, and is managing all administrative aspects in Value Sports’ work.
Believes that sport is the ideal educational tool that can lead a true change in Israeli society.
Renana lives in Zichron-Yaakov, married to Elad, and a mother to two wonderful daughters.
